LIMITED EDITIONS
The Mock-up Paintings series presents three new art editions, printed on Canson Infinity Arches Aquarelle Rag, museum-grade archival paper.
Each work is hand-signed and numbered, in limited editions of 10, 20, and 30 copies.
The project derives from silkscreen reproductions of paintings that no longer exist: the originals were destroyed, leaving only their images, transferred onto new surfaces as final testaments. In this sense, documentation replaces the original.
Through the notion of the “image of the image,” the artist reflects on the reproduction of reproductions, created from four destroyed paintings.
